The process of discipling children is accomplished within two spheres of influence that succeed best when coordinated together:
In the home and in the church.
Discipleship starts in the home with parents, and we want to walk alongside parents to help them succeed by casting a vision of what proactive discipleship can look like and equip every parent with the tools to put it in action. We don’t have to be firefighters responding to crises as they spark up; we can be coaches with a strategy, calling plays that lead to spiritual growth.
In the church, we strive to provide dynamic, discipleship-minded ministries that equip and empower every child that engages in our ministries. We seek to do our part to train them up in coordination with parents and connect what happens on campus to the home.
Discipleship at McGregor is filtered through this purpose:
By God’s grace, we desire to glorify Him by magnifying His Word to develop disciples who: Think Biblically Live Missionally Give Generously Love Sacrificially
